WRONGFUL TERMINATION

An employee may be subject to a wrongful termination for any violation of an employee's rights or the law.  A wrongful termination is for any illegal reason such as discrimination, retaliation, whistleblower complaints, engaging in a protected activity, free speech, or any violation of public policy.  Wrongful termination law protects an employee for any violations not specifically enumerated by statute or in the labor code that still may be in violation of law or public policy.  Wrongful termination may protect an employee who lawfully conducts themselves and are terminated for their compliance with the law if their termination violates public policy.
If you believe you were wrongfully terminated in violation of the law, please feel free to reach out for a free consultation.
